Mr. Esilfie Adjei who was known for his contribution and analysis on the state of the Ghanaian economy reportedly died Thursday evening.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, the Convention People\u2019s Party, of which he was a member said: \u201cWe received the sad news with some sought of a mixed feeling because we did not know whether to celebrate or mourn.  You had been through severe pains throughout this process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo the best of our knowledge, we had the best times with you. I am personally glad to have come closer to you and played a part in your beautiful life on earth. When I visited you on your sick bed last week, your condition was not too pleasant.  I had a first hand briefing from my colleague doctors who were handling you\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The statement signed by the chairman of the CPP Professor Edmund Dele concluded: \u201cYou are arguable one of the best economist our country has ever had.   Until your demise, you were the Chairman of the ways and means committee of our great party,  CPP. You will be missed comrade Essilfie Adjaye. Rest in perfect peace.
