Free Senior High School (SHS) policy championed by the government, Jonathan Teye, emphasized the need for more financial injection to guarantee its success in the medium to long-term.<\/p>\n<p>He stressed that the available infrastructure alone will not be enough and appealed to government to consider other options such as virtual or distance learning models to cut cost.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the launch of the West African Alumni Chapter of the University in Accra, Mr Teye said such a system will free up students to access quality education while they are gainfully employed.<\/p>\n<p>This, he believes, is one reason why the University of Leicester becomes a very welcoming partner in national development.<\/p>\n<p>This was done in conjunction with The School of Business of the University of Leicester in conjunction with its Alumni Ghana chapter and International Distance Education Center (IDEC) &#8211;
