I was not going to allow myself to be beaten by the same team twice in the same tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Our early goal in the final was part of our strategy. I told them that if we could get an early goal and stay compact, we would be able to protect the lead.<\/p>\n<p>a7f1f354-9817-4e20-818b-a71be267b8a2-1<\/p>\n<p>Of course, we has to deal with the physical strength of the Ivorians and that was a challenge. At a point, I became unhappy with the ladies but I realised that they had to deal with the Ivorians and so, I urged them to stay calm and pass the ball around.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Queens have followed the lead of the Black Stars B team to win the WAFU Zone B Tournament and for Tagoe, success in her very first stint as a coach, was a very humbling experience since she and her team mates, such as Alberta Sackey and Sheila Okine, failed to win any major honours during the time as Black Queens players.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo be honest, I really wept after the final whistle because I could not believe that I had won the match.
