Mind you, not only our unpaid salaries, but our SSNIT contributions, and our provident fund have also not been paid for a period of about three and a half years\u201d Chairman of the Concerned Workers Group of Expresso, Kojo Nkansah explained.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister for Communications, Mrs. Ursula Owusu Ekuful recently disclosed on Point Blank (Citi Eyewitness News) that telecom companies Expresso and Glo may lose their licenses if they fail to meet a 30-day ultimatum given by the ministry to answer questions on their poor operations.<\/p>\n<p>But shortly after the announcement, the workers are demanding for their unpaid salaries and other benefits before the company goes down.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Nkansah pointed out that workers are likely to be worse off if the license is finally revoked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur efforts to know who is acting on behalf of the company as the owner has proved futile.
