Source: <\/strong>www.ghanaweb.com<\/p>\n2018-02-19<\/p>\n\nplay video<\/span>Countryman Songo speaks to GhanaWeb.com on what he makes of attendance at Ebony’s one week memorial<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\t\t <a href=\"\/\/ghanaweb-d.openx.net\/w\/1.0\/rc?cs=b2ad7fa7fd&cb=151125813995117\"><\/p>\n<p>\t\t <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/1519012830_645_ai\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/iframe><\/noscript><\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"clear:right\">Sports presenter, Patrick Osei Agyeman, popularly known as Countryman Songo, has labelled Ghanaians \u201chypocrites\u201d following the overwhelming turnout at Ebony\u2019s one week memorial.<\/p>\n<p>His remarks were premised on the fact that the dancehall diva was vehemently criticized for her risqu\u00e9 on-stage acts and suggestive performances.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey didn\u2019t like her music, they didn\u2019t like the way she was dancing, and they were talking trash about her,\u201d he argued. <\/p>\n<p>Songo, who could hardly control himself at the memorial was still in shock by the sudden departure of his dear friend said he knew \u201cby now, she\u2019s resting in the hands of the Almighty.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with www.Ghanaweb.com, the controversial figure said he still felt Ebony had more to give but he could hardly question God\u2019s decision to reclaim her life.<\/p>\n<p>The memorial was held at the St Martin de Porres School, Dansoman on Sunday February 18 and saw thousands in attendance.<\/p>\n<p>Ebony, known in real life as Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, died in a gory accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway \u2013 a few days before she was scheduled to start a European tour.<\/p>\n<p>A military officer and a female acquaintance identified as Francis Atsu Vondee and Frankie respectively, who were also on board the Jeep which clashed with a VIP bus died as well.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Ebony\u2019s family has announced that their beloved will be buried on March 17, 2018.
