In a very crude and profane manner, from a young lady.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In fact, the eccentric lawyer says he would not object to a drink with the \u2018radical feminist\u2019 on condition that \u201cIf we can respect each other, then why not,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, \u201cfighting\u201d puts food on his table, therefore, banters such as this, \u201cdoes not make me wrong or right.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/content.jwplatform.com\/players\/fsOoDMJm-GtVgZhNx.html\" width=\"600\" height=\"350\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"auto\" allowfullscreen=\"\" style=\"position:absolute;\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><b>About his wife<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Nobody has more praise for the spouse than Ace who thinks Mrs Josephine Anan Ankomah\u2019s 25 years of experience as a banker, coupled with her home management skills are enough qualifications for any role she may want to undertake. <\/p>\n<p>He describes the wife as \u201ca woman who\u2019s established herself in her own right\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Ankomah who has over 20 years of experience in banking, currently serves as the Managing Director of Ecobank, Gambia.<\/p>\n<p>Ace asserted he would have no objection to her settling for a career in politics, in the future, however near.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/content.jwplatform.com\/players\/rvy2L8lR-GtVgZhNx.html\" width=\"600\" height=\"350\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"auto\" allowfullscreen=\"\" style=\"position:absolute;\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><b>Run your marriage as you see fit<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Mr Ankomah touched on the practice of going through counselling before marriage and is proud to say that \u201cnone of that has worked for my marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In fact, he claims he has kept notes from his marriage counselling but has never adhered to any of those rules in his marital bliss.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo each, his or her own.\u201d This is how he describes the different styles of marriage that works for different people under different circumstances.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nHe does not believe that there is one formula for all marriages that couples ought to abide by.<\/p>\n<p>That is why the brouhaha on Facebook was all for nothing, seeing as the decision as to who goes to the kitchen or who runs the money of the family should be solely decided by the couple.<\/p>\n<p>He added that, \u201c\u2026I hardly write the cheque; she runs the money, she runs the house,\u201d referring to Mrs Ankomah.<\/p>\n<p>He advised that, pre-marital counselling should give the couple perspective;<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u201cIt is not a set of rules, it is not a mark or laying down rules,\u201d he stressed.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Ankomah believes that what works for one marriage might break the other, hence the importance of finding out what works in order for them to stay together.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/content.jwplatform.com\/players\/a1sUXJbs-GtVgZhNx.html\" width=\"600\" height=\"350\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"auto\" allowfullscreen=\"\" style=\"position:absolute;\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><b>Occupy Ghana is political not partisan<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cOccupy Ghana is a political organization\u201d, as is Citizen Ghana, which is made up of members who broke away from \u2018Occupy Ghana\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>But speaking for his group, Ace said, \u201cwe welcome people with different political views,\u201d debunking claims that the group is partisan in any way.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, some of the sanctions such as resignation to the common floor, can be meted out to any member who breaks the rule of non-partisanship.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the group such as George Andah who have evolved to serious political positions no longer hold executive roles in the group, but remain members anyway.<\/p>\n<p>He also discredited assertions that the group had been dormant since the inception of the Akufo Addo led NPP government.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c2017 was our most active year. At our last check, we\u2019d issued 30 press statements, and that\u2019s how we operate,\u201d he argued.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;&#8230;in our first press statement, we criticised the 110 ministers,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to this, he claimed that the group had attended protests, put together by other organisations. To back his claim, Ace cited the \u2018Dumsor Must Stop\u2019 protest.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/content.jwplatform.com\/players\/ZaitcW0V-GtVgZhNx.html\" width=\"600\" height=\"350\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"auto\" allowfullscreen=\"\" style=\"position:absolute;\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The group is bent on attacking any act of any government in power that it deems inappropriate and is known for taking legal action against reports that it deems questionable.<\/p>\n<p>In the future, Citizen Ghana hopes to continue the good work it has begun by paying attention to any government decision that needs constructive criticism.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were able to influence policy under the NDC and we have been able to influence policy, under the NPP,\u201d Ace boasted.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"600\" height=\"350\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/iWPgjjXtQjg\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe> <\/p>\n<p><b>Ace does not break any rules<\/b><\/p>\n<p>In the fight against corruption, the litigator is certain that \u201cwe have a system that is set up to be corrupt.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He questioned the wisdom behind some minor offences, like traffic offences, that wasted time to be settled in court and said this paved the way for petty corrupt funds to be paid instead.<\/p>\n<p>Asked if he had ever been in a position where he had to bribe his way out, Ace said \u201cI will not pay a bribe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to him, officials refuse even minor tips from him, jokingly adding that, \u201cpeople don\u2019t like my money.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He would rather beg than break the law.<\/p>\n<p>Ace Ankomah says he is absolutely in favour of the newly created Special Prosecutor\u2019s Office, stating that the position is not a duplication of roles.
