{"id":463561,"date":"2018-02-12T08:47:29","date_gmt":"2018-02-12T08:47:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ghana-mma.com\/2018\/02\/12\/akufo-addo-assesses-performance-of-110-ministers-beginning-today\/"},"modified":"2018-02-12T08:47:29","modified_gmt":"2018-02-12T08:47:29","slug":"akufo-addo-assesses-performance-of-110-ministers-beginning-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2018\/02\/12\/akufo-addo-assesses-performance-of-110-ministers-beginning-today\/","title":{"rendered":"Akufo-Addo assesses performance of 110 Ministers beginning today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Ministers-475x267.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"mashsb-container mashsb-main mashsb-stretched\"> <\/aside>\n<p>Beginning today, all 110 ministers of the Akufo-Addo government are expected to justify their continues stay in office as they\u2019re assessed on their performance over the past one year.<\/p>\n<p>According to government sources, President Akufo-Addo will hold a face to face encounter with each Minister and will subsequently use the result of the performance assessment to guide his first ministerial reshuffle.<\/p>\n<p>The assessment will be based on a brief compiled by the Ministry for Monitoring and Evaluation over the past year on the performance of each ministry.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister for Monitoring and Evaluation, Dr Akoto Osei whose office prepared the brief will himself be assessed by the President.<\/p>\n<p>Many Ghanaians continue to criticize Akufo-Addo for the appointment of 110, which they say is putting unnecessary strain on the country\u2019s finances.
