KOSSA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"medsection1\">\n<!-- End of html generated by this->header() --><\/p>\n<p class=\"floatLeft\">General News of Friday,  9 February 2018<\/p>\n<p class=\"floatRight\"><strong>Source: <\/strong>classfmonline.com<\/p>\n<p>2018-02-09<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-left\">\n<p class=\"article-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/45388997.295.jpg\" alt=\"Korle Bu Front\" title=\"Korle Bu Front\" width=\"295\" height=\"225\" \/><span class=\"image_caption\"><span>The Association trusts government&#8217;s ability to constitute a fitting Board to team up with management<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"noPrint\">\n<div id=\"537626303\" style=\"width:300;height:250;margin:0;padding:0\">\n<p>\t\t  <noscript><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"b2ad7fa7fd\" name=\"b2ad7fa7fd\" src=\"http:\/\/ghanaweb-d.openx.net\/w\/1.0\/afr?auid=537626303&amp;cb=151125813973067\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\"><a href=\"\/\/ghanaweb-d.openx.net\/w\/1.0\/rc?cs=b2ad7fa7fd&amp;cb=151125813973067\"><\/p>\n<p>\t\t  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/1518192852_493_ai\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/iframe><\/noscript><\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"clear:right\"> The Senior Staff Association and the Health Service Workers Union of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital has served notice that its members are not in a hurry for a new board, hence government should disregard a purported letter calling on the president to constitute a board.<\/p>\n<p>A group called Concerned Action Movement wrote the letter in which it called on President Nana Akufo-Addo to reconstitute the Board.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe deem this action as highly inappropriate and an attempt to stampede government into hasty reconstitution of the Korie-Bu Teaching Hospital Board,\u201d a statement from the union and the association said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe trust government&#8217;s ability to constitute a fitting Board that will team up with management to continue the positive works we have witnessed lately under the leadership of the Acting Chief Executive, Dr Felix Anyah,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n<p>Under Dr Anyah\u2019s leadership, the Union and Association said the hospital has been able to refurbish the oxygen plants, which is saving the hospital thousands of cedis;
