In an interview following the tragic death of the 20-year old musician, Mr Kwarteng described his daughter Ebony, real name, Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng as a \u201cpretty queen\u201d who \u201cwas so unique.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was so special and that\u2019s why I called her Ohemaa from day one. Ohemaa was amazing. Her title was her personality.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I should describe my girl, she was amazing, splendid. She was so unique and Ghana is going to have it tough to have [lose] someone like this pretty queen,\u201d the grief-stricken father said.<\/p>\n<p>He had more to say about Ebony: \u201cShe was a good writer. So loving and so caring. She was a gem.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy girl was special and I will forever miss her,\u201d he said, holding back tears.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Kwarteng said he last spoke to Ebony on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI spoke to her a day before yesterday and she said she was going to see her mom. Her mom had returned from the UK and she needed to see her. I said okay and that was it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI asked her if she was driving cos I was scared [and] it was late\u2026 but she said she was with her driver, bodyguard and a friend. So I told her to take care of herself.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr Kwarteng who has been the number one fan of her daughter was optimistic that his daughter would have swept the topmost award at the yet to be held Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIndeed she had already had it. Her latest songs could have made her the best. I believe she was going to win the best award; the supreme award so to speak. I knew she was going to win.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ebony had been criticised several times for her sense of fashion but Mr Kwarteng in an interview in July last year with the Graphic Showbiz said he was very proud of his daughter and supports everything she wore and did through and through.<\/p>\n<p>He reiterated his support saying, \u201cI was strongly behind her. I had given her my word that she should do what pleases her and she was doing exactly that.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll that was said about her didn\u2019t dissuade her one bit.
