We\u2019ve allowed partisan politics to take away national sense of common. I\u2019m turning it this way so that it doesn\u2019t sound like an insult. I\u2019m saying that we\u2019ve allowed partisan politics to deny us of our national sense of common.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt the end of the day, take from Independence and show me and look at the infrastructure development in this country and show me a single identifiable something that belongs to creative arts that Ghana invested in. The only creative art place Ghana\u2019s first president invested in was Ghana Films but it has been sold.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPoliticians always have their way to lie to creative arts personalities that we haven\u2019t been able to prove ourselves but look at the amount Government spends on football.\u201d Rex Omar lamented.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018Abiba\u2019 hit singer bemoaned government\u2019s complete neglect of creative arts.<\/p>\n<p>He however, urged government to separate creative arts from the main ministry so it will also receive equal benefits like other sectors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow do you set up Ministry of Tourism, Creative Arts and Culture. Tourism alone is big enough. Some countries are depending on Tourism.
