He told me had only GHC 3,000 and left with GHC 5,000 and I instructed him to go to the doctor and tell him I will pay the money by Monday and this morning I am going to pay the money\u201d he said on Accra-based Net 2 TV.<\/p>\n<p>The Maverick lawmaker wondered why junior police officers have been taken for granted by their subordinates, saying the phenomenon is the bane of the service.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Agyapong believes the lack of protection for the junior ranks in the Police Service is the cause of the numerous deaths of officers and corruption in the service.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t blame them; rather, I blame the senior ones because they have become careless and have taken the junior ones for granted. A police officer who has risen to chief inspector cannot even afford a surgery.<\/p>\n<p>He continued that \u201cThe officer has undergone the surgery and has called to inform me but he is unable to come himself because of the surgery.
