Owusu-Ampofo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"medsection1\">\n<!-- End of html generated by this->header() --><\/p>\n<p class=\"floatLeft\">Politics of Tuesday,  6 February 2018<\/p>\n<p class=\"floatRight\"><strong>Source: <\/strong>ghananewsagency.org<\/p>\n<p>2018-02-06<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-left\">\n<p class=\"article-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/81201956.295.jpg\" alt=\"Ampofo9\" title=\"Ampofo9\" width=\"295\" height=\"188\" \/><span class=\"image_caption\"><span>Samuel Owusu-Ampofo<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"noPrint\">\n<div id=\"537626303\" style=\"width:300;height:250;margin:0;padding:0\">\n<p>\t\t  <noscript><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"b2ad7fa7fd\" name=\"b2ad7fa7fd\" src=\"http:\/\/ghanaweb-d.openx.net\/w\/1.0\/afr?auid=537626303&amp;cb=151125817929577\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" width=\"300\" height=\"250\"><a href=\"\/\/ghanaweb-d.openx.net\/w\/1.0\/rc?cs=b2ad7fa7fd&amp;cb=151125817929577\"><\/p>\n<p>\t\t  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/1517943081_702_ai\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/iframe><\/noscript><\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"clear:right\">Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, Director of Elections of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has advised party members to adopt \u201cthe Jehovah Witness and trotro-mate theories\u201d to ensure effective party organisation to recapture power during the 2020 polls.<\/p>\n<p>He said \u201cour approach to party organisation must be based on the Jehovah witness\u2019 principle of making sure that we knock doors , talk to people, be consistent with our messages, be focused, and results-oriented\u201d adding once we adopted that theory, we would make a headway.<\/p>\n<p>He also explained \u201cthe theory of trotro-mate and passenger philosophy\u201d saying \u201cthe mates are focused on the passengers, determined to get on them board their vehicles, they run to help the passengers carry their luggage onto the vehicle\u201d adding \u201cSo once we focus on the people, they get to know that we are concerned about their welfare, that is the bottom line of organisation, they will relate very well to us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr Ofosu-Ampofo was speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Tamale over the weekend after facilitating a training organised by the Ghana Institute of Social Democracy (GISD), the NDC\u2019s schools, for the NDC\u2019s communication team members in the Northern Region.<\/p>\n<p>About 320 party members including;
