The movie, with its book version, has caught attention around the globe and perceived as one of the biggest movies to be unveiled this year.<\/p>\n<p>Pauline\u2019s Diary is the brainchild of Ben Darkwa, a UK-based civil engineer, film producer and author. Asked why he wrote this movie, he said, \u201cHaving been the chairman of the Cambridge African Network, UK, from 2011-2015, I was aware of the major issues affecting Africa and its people. Domestic abuse was one of such issues.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pauline\u2019s Diary is a dramatic piece full of suspense. The entrepreneur has invested a lot of time and money into this product of his. The height of it all came when a London high street studio gave him a \u00a345K invoice for post production work. <\/p>\n<p>He revealed, \u201cThe bill left me with no option than to learn a new trade in editing. I had to cut and recut raw footages to meet my own acceptance criteria. That was how I massively saved!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, in the face of challenges, new talents are discovered.<\/p>\n<p>Pauline\u2019s Diary premieres in Accra on Friday, 23rd February, 2018 at Silverbird Cinema, Accra Mall and Saturday, 24th February, 2018 at Silverbird Cinema, West Hills Mall. Time is 7pm and 9pm each day.
