<\/div>\n<\/div>\nAs part of efforts to boost mobile banking, Energy Commercial Bank has re-launched its Energy Mobile application with additional features to facilitate banking transaction with ease.<\/p>\n
The Energy Mobile banking platform is expected to make banking more easier for customers as they can transact business whenever and wherever they are.\u00a0 Customers can also transfer funds from their mobile wallet into their Energy Commercial Bank account and vice versa.<\/p>\n
Other transactions that the application can execute within few seconds are instant transfer, bill payment including DSTV and Kwese TV, mini account statement, check balance, mobile money and mobile airtime top-up.<\/p>\n
A customer who has already signed up must initially dial the preferred code *389*029#. <\/strong>A welcome message then appears and the customer is asked to enter the account number and confirm it. <\/strong>The customer is again asked to enter his default pin and the pin subsequently confirmed. <\/strong>When successful, the customer can then proceed to do his or her transactions.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Energy Mobile solution is in line with international standard and is secured with encryption technology and also requires a PIN for every transaction.<\/p>\n Commenting, Head of E-Banking and Collections, Tubuor Ofei-Agyemang said the application is a two part mobile commerce application that is multi-network accomplished and can interface with third-party payment schemes, adding the application is available on both USSD and Mobile Web or Wap format, and therefore can be downloaded using android or smart phones or accessed virtually on any mobile phone via a USSD code.<\/p>\n He added that \u201cEnergy Commercial Bank is committed to offering technology-enabled products and services to clients to make banking very easy for them. We will consistently innovate by offering services that are speed and accurate\u201d.<\/p>\n Managing Director\/ Chief Executive Officer of Energy Commercial Bank, Christiana Olaoye for her part said \u201cWe have re-positioned the bank to offer retail and commercial banking customers through new product offerings targeted at their peculiar financial needs, and through offering advisory support services.\u00a0 We are focused on supporting small and medium size businesses to becoming future economic giant.\u201d<\/p>\n She emphasized that the year 2017 was good for the bank as it ended the year with a strong, liquid balance sheet. \u201cWe will however continue to pursue aggressive strategies to grow our business lines and overall profitability in 2018.\u201d<\/p>\n Energy Bank presently operates 12 branches in Ghana- five in Accra, three in Kumasi, and the rest in Tema, Takoradi and Tamale.
