{"id":454833,"date":"2018-01-13T11:00:23","date_gmt":"2018-01-13T11:00:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ghana-mma.com\/2018\/01\/13\/beautician-jailed-for-distributing-fake-nude-pictures-of-actress\/"},"modified":"2018-01-13T11:00:23","modified_gmt":"2018-01-13T11:00:23","slug":"beautician-jailed-for-distributing-fake-nude-pictures-of-actress","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2018\/01\/13\/beautician-jailed-for-distributing-fake-nude-pictures-of-actress\/","title":{"rendered":"Beautician jailed for distributing fake nude pictures of actress"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"medsection1\">\n<!-- End of html generated by this->header() --><\/p>\n<p class=\"floatLeft\">Entertainment of Saturday, 13 January 2018<\/p>\n<p class=\"floatRight\"><strong>Source: <\/strong>citifmonline.com<\/p>\n<p>2018-01-13<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-left\">\n<p class=\"article-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/74357254.295.jpg\" alt=\"Arrest4\" title=\"Arrest4\" width=\"295\" height=\"157\" \/><span class=\"image_caption\"><span>The Suspect was accused of photo shopping the complainant\u2019s pictures onto someone else\u2019s nude body<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"clear:right\"> A beautician, Chantel Nunekpeku, who, reportedly out of jealousy, doctored and distributed images depicting her boyfriend\u2019s former girlfriend naked, has been sentenced to 12 months in prison by an Accra Circuit Court.<\/p>\n<p>This was after she changed her plea from not guilty to guilty.<\/p>\n<p>Soon after Chantel changed her plea, the court presided over by Mrs Abena Oppong Adjin-Doku handed down the sentence.<\/p>\n<p>Chantel\u2019s boyfriend, Kayode Kalode, a music producer who maintained his not-guilty plea, will reappear on January 25.<\/p>\n<p>They were charged with offences relating to obscenity and domestic violence as well as emotional and psychological trauma.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecuting, ASP Agnes Boafo said Destina Tata, the complainant resides at Awoshie in Accra whilst Chantel and Kolade who are in an amorous relationship, reside at Sowutuom, a suburb of Accra.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecution told the court that the complainant was an ex-girlfriend of Kalode.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Prosecution, on January 23, last year, Chantel took the pictures of the complainant which she downloaded from social media and photoshopped them onto the image of a nude woman, creating the impression that the pictures were those of the complainant.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecution said the pictures were then posted on Instagram with the complainant\u2019s name attached.
