{"id":453674,"date":"2018-01-10T10:28:03","date_gmt":"2018-01-10T10:28:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ghana-mma.com\/2018\/01\/10\/rawlings-has-mood-swings-ive-no-problem-with-him-mahama\/"},"modified":"2018-01-10T10:28:03","modified_gmt":"2018-01-10T10:28:03","slug":"rawlings-has-mood-swings-ive-no-problem-with-him-mahama","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2018\/01\/10\/rawlings-has-mood-swings-ive-no-problem-with-him-mahama\/","title":{"rendered":"Rawlings has mood swings, I&#8217;ve no problem with him &#8211; Mahama"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/Raw-475x267.png\" \/><\/p>\n<div id=\"post-280613\">\n<div class=\"entry-content clearfix single-post-content\">\n<p>Former President John Mahama say\u2019s he\u2019s learnt to adjust to the mood swings of his former boss, ex President Jerry John Rawlings.<\/p>\n<p>His comment comes on the back of\u00a0what appears to be an unfriendly handshake between him and ex Presidents Rawlings at last week\u2019s Thanksgiving service marking the 25th anniversary celebration of the 4th Republic at the Independence Square in Accra.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to GTV\u2019s Abdul Moomen, Mr. Mahama said in as much as he\u2019s on good terms with ex President Rawlings, he\u2019s been careful to always check the mood in which the latter is before engaging him at public functions.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThere are sometimes you sit next to him and he is not in the mood to talk but sometimes you sit next to him and he is in the mood to talk. You have to learn what mood he is in and adjust to it,\u201d Mahama said.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cSometimes he\u2019s in a mood where he doesn\u2019t want to engage in any conversation and so recently at the Thanksgiving; they were giving all kinds of interpretation to the handshake. There are occasions where he comes and you don\u2019t know what mood he is in, he greets military style and passes but there are on some other occasions, I met him in Kpando and we had a very warm handshake and we exchanged pleasantries.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI don\u2019t have any problem with President Rawlings; he gave me my opportunities in life.
