So it\u2019s a very difficult situation. Most often, men tend to be laid back, you know they love you, they\u2019ve been with you, but just to say the words \u2018I want to marry you. Will you marry me?\u2019 is a bit tough.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When as part of the discussions, the issue of whether it is okay for the woman to bear the cost of the wedding came up, the actor thought \u201cthere\u2019s a lot wrong with that\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the man is \u201cthe one taking someone from her parents&#8217; home and bringing to your house, so you should be responsible, you should be ready\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He suggested that even though the woman may meet the man half way with expenses, allowing her take charge, \u201csometimes it takes your dignity away as a man\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Writer and film critic Aphua Larbi in her submission admitted that though there was nothing wrong with a woman popping the big question, she had to be sure her partner felt the same way about her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn a relationship, you have to be sure you\u2019re both on the same page, because if they are, why not?
