There has also been talk about reforms especially after the Ghana Football Association (GFA)\u2019s Cape Coast summit.<\/p>\n<p>The latest to join the call for reforms is the Vice Chairman of the Premier League Board (PLB), George Amoako. In an interview with Asempa FM Sports on Wednesday, he admitted that, more needed to be done to alter the face of the game.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are problems here and there that affect the game, so, we have to make proper improvement\u201d he said while taking full cognizance of rules and regulations on the game.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe PLB is a sub-committee of the GFA. It has no power of its own to run the league. It can only make recommendations to the Executive Committee for approval. That\u2019s the law and that\u2019s what we follow.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf we draw a programme, it has to be approved by the Executive Committee of the GFA\u201d George Amoako stated adding that, it \u201ccreates bureaucracy\u201d sometimes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEight games are played every week. There are issues that arise out of it. Once the cases are sent to the Disciplinary Committee of the FA; your hands are tied. If it takes months to decide, the PLB has to wait.
