The Odooms have emerged winners of the first-ever lucky couple promotion organized by Citi 97.3 FM.
Fiifi Odoom and Effia Odoom came top after battling it with four other shortlisted couples on the Citi Breakfast Show on Friday.
The winning couple is taking an all-expense-paid trip to Johannesburg South Africa between December and January.
They answered questions about themselves asked by the Citi Breakfast Show Team and the judging panel and showcased a real knowledge about each other.
Interestingly, the first anniversary of this couple is on 23rd December 2018.
According to them, they were unable to enjoy a honeymoon after their wedding ceremony.
This prize also comes as an awesome gift for Mrs. Odoom as the 22nd of December marks her birthday.
Managing Director of Citi FM/TV, Samuel Atta-Mensah, also announced a special package for Samuel Deku, a former Catholic Priest who left Priesthood and just got married.
Although he did not qualify as a finalist because of the time he got married, he will also enjoy an all expenses paid trip to South Africa like the lucky couple because of his unique story.
Earlier, the couple were asked to submit a 60 second voice note to Citi FM indicating why they deserve to win the trip.
Meanwhile, the Ananes, which is made up of Edmund Anane and Barikisu Anane took the second position.
For their prize, they have a two free night stay with breakfast and lunch at the Royal Senchi in Akosombo.
The Gyenis -Stephen Gyeni and Sandra Gyeni, had a free night breakfast and lunch stay at Sogakope Beach Resort for coming third.
It is worthy of note that Citi FM shall not provide shopping money for the winning couple on their trip to South Africa or Namibia.
