Arsenal manager, Unai Emery, has reacted after his first North London derby at the Emirates stadium ended in a defeat for him. His side were completely outplayed by Tottenham during the Carabao cup clash yesterday and the Spurs ran away with a 2-0 victory to dump them out of the competition.
The Spanish tactician who took over from Arsenal Legendary manager, Arsene Wenger, during the end of last season had gone 22 matches unbeaten across all competitions before Southampton ended the wonderful run over the weekend and was expected to respond in style with the North London derby.
The former Sevilla coach however took to his twitter handle at the end of the match to urge his team to move past the defeat and look forward to turning results around on Saturday.
What he said:
We were all disappointed after the game. Today we just keep together and focused on celebrating Christmas the best way with all our @Arsenal family. Starting from now at Colney and from Saturday at the Emirates. Come on you Reds! pic.twitter.com/zjHadQQFK2
