Nigeria now a state of political cleansing, Fani- Kayode reacts to Badeh’s murder

Former Aviation Minister, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode has also reacted to the death  of former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, who was murdered by unknown gunmen, on Tuesday.

The sad incidence took place along the Keffi-Abuja road, when the former Chief of Defense staff, was returning from his farm.

A lot of speculations have arisen from the death, of Badeh, whom some have claimed was a strong critic of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s government.

In his reaction, Fani-Kayode said the country has grown from ethnic and religious cleansing, to political. The former minister made this known via his Twitter handle on Wednesday, and asked if Nigerians still believed Buhari “ will conduct a free and fair election and hand over power quietly next year?

With the murder of Badeh on Buhari’s birthday,it is clear that ours is a nation of not just ethnic and religious cleansing but also a nation of political cleansing.

Does anyone still believe that Buhari will conduct a free and fair election and hand over power quietly next year?.”
