Barcelona forward, Lionel ‘Andres’ Messi, has won a record 5th European Golden Shoe award. The 31-year-old scored 34 goals in thirty four league games for the Catalans in the 2017/2018.
The European Golden Shoe is an award that is presented each season to the leading scorer in league matches from the top division of every European national league.
