The internet can’t get over Rasta’s Soweto Uprising painting

As fans still try to come to terms with Rasta’s painting of Beyoncé and Jay-Z at the Global Citizen Festival over the weekend, another of his murals has surfaced online, causing more chaos.

A picture of Rasta standing with a drawing he did to commemorate the 1976 Soweto Uprising has been shared widely on Twitter and other social media platforms.

The drawing, which is an attempted replica of Sam Nzima’s iconic photograph, shows a skinnier looking man holding Hector Pieterson.

Fans didn’t hold back in their criticism of the drawing, with even Fikile Mbalula and comedian Skhumba joining in the banter.
