Vice President of the Accra College of Medicine, Richard Owusu Nyarko says an allegation made against him in 2014 is hurting his career.

According to him even though a court of competent jurisdiction acquitted and discharged him, many still consider him a fake doctor.

Richard Owusu Nyarko, in 2014, was accused of posing as a Resident Surgeon at the 37 Military Hospital promising to help his accuser get a job at the Swedish Ghana Medical Centre at East Legon.

He was further accused of trying to use his accuser’s Curriculum Vitae (CV), application letter, certificates and a photocopy of his provisional Medical License to get a job for himself at a private hospital in Madina.

In September 2014, the media reported that Mr Owusu Nyarko had been granted bail by the Accra Circuit Court ‘4’.

But in a letter to www.ghanaweb.com on 4th December 2018, the lawyers of Mr Owusu Nyarko have noted that their client was found innocent of the accusation, thus was acquitted and discharged by the court on 15th August 2016.
