The 24 teams making it to FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 slated for June have been confirmed, following Cameroon’s clash with Mali in the semi-finals of the ongoing African Women’s cup of Nations in Ghana.
Cameroon won 4-2 against Mali who has made history by playing in the semifinals of the competition for the first time.
The 2018 Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Women’s Nation Cup was won by New Zealand on Saturday, after beating Fiji 8-0 to become the final team to qualify for the world’s biggest women’s international football tournament.
The Falcons of Nigeria and Banyana Banyana have already secured a ticket alongside Cameroon from the African continent, credit to the grand final contest.
The pairing of the World Cup 2019 will take place on December 8 in Paris.
