Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has returned to Kayserispor training ahead of their Turkish Super Lique game at home to Trabzonspor on Saturday.
Gyan was part of the team that trained on Monday morning as they step up preparations for the game on Saturday.
The former Sunderland player was handed an extended break following his involvement with the Black Stars for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier with Ethiopia during the international break.
Gyan is expected to work his way into the squad for the game at the Kadir Has ?ehir Stadium.
Its been a frustrating spell for the Ghanaian skipper since he joined the side due to recurrent injuries.
Asamoah Gyan has managed only four substitute appearances for the side since the start of the new campaign.
But he appears reinvigorated for the clash and could be thrown into the hat for the crucial game at home.
He is likely to move away from the club during the January transfer window.
