Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori Atta has revealed that the Government of Ghana will soon construct the roads in Kwabenya.

The roads at Kwabenya, which are in a deplorable condition, have over the years become the bane of the vehicle drivers and commuters at the vicinity.

Residents at Kwabenya recently embarked on demonstration against the Member of Parliament of Dome/Kwabenya and Deputy Majority Leader, Adwoa Safo, to ensure the roads are properly constructed to ease traffic and also provide relief to drivers who ply the stretch of Kwabenya road.

Reading the 2019 budget statement in Parliament Thursday morning, Mr. Ofori-Atta noted that the government will in next year invest massively towards the construction of first-class roads in the nation.

Listing areas that the government has targeted to address their road challenges, he stated categorically that the government will fix the poor Kwabenya roads.

The Dome-Kwabenya MP, Adwoa Safo present during the budget reading by the Finance Minister at Parliament, gave a broad grin to register her excitement and pleasure with the intervention by the Government of Ghana to address the concerns of her constituents.
