Penny Lebyane defends Kelly Khumalo amidst ongoing cyberbullying

As trolls continue to bully Kelly Khumalo about her personal life, TV presenter Penny Lebyane has stepped in to defend her.

Kelly and rapper Chad da Don’s loved up snaps have become a major talking point on social media.

The songstress who has been considered to be unlucky in love has also in the past been  blamed for the “ill-fate” of her exes.

And ever since Kelly and Chad have been getting steamy on social media, trolls have warned him to be careful.

Kelly has hit back several times at the hate and traded insults with trolls but found an ally in Penny this week.

Penny, who has never been shy to speak her mind and tackle haters head on took to Twitter to pay tribute to Kelly and Babalwa Mneno, who is also frequently being dragged and accused of “pimping” out girls.

She said people have been dragging the two for years but they were special spirits.

“When people want to be sick they say all sorts of outlandish things about them but for years I’ve never known close and far resilient spirits, amazing souls, kind hearted beings, responsible daughters.”

She went on to throw some spice in the pot at the end, adding that other celebs should be taking notes.

“They can teach your favorites a lot,” she added.

Penny was applauded for showing her support for the pair and told fans she felt that truths needed to be preached.

“I am known to say it like it is…it has to be said sometimes.”
