Twitter hailed Zola 7 for not only helping communities in need but for also roping in other celebrities to lend a helping hand on Hope With Zola.
This week Zola 7 invited TV personality Penny Lebyane to share her wisdom with the young girls, who wanted to be able to express their culture without being undermined because they live in a modern society.
On Tuesday’s episode, Zola met a group of young girls led by Ayanda Mdletshe who wanted help in preserving their cultural beliefs and practices, while co-existing in a modern community.
The show asked the questioned whether a person could maintain their traditional upbringing when they live in a world that thinks tradition is backward?
It was also questioned whether a modern world could co-exist with cultural practices without it being “looked down” on.
