Controversial Dancehall act Shatta Wale has asked Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie and fellow dancehall artiste Stonebwoy to show him  respect because they were still students when he started singing.

“When I came out, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy were in school, they for respect me! Bandana from Ghana,” he said.

This comes on the back of recent heated debate on social media as to who started his music career first when hip-life artiste Sarkodie addressed issues between himself and Shatta Wale in a diss track “ Advice”

Shatta Wale also called on Ghanaians to value their knowledge and not take it for granted because that’s the way forward.

“The reason why Ghanaians aren’t moving forward is because we don’t value our knowledge. We try to undermine each other,” he told Joy FM.
