Head of Communications at Ghana Post, Ohemaa Serwaa Kobi, has revealed that 1.3 million digital addresses have been generated in a year.
In an interview with Adom TV News, she said, “so far, over 550,000 people have downloaded the App on Android as well 20,000 on Apple Store”.
Ohemaa Kobi said the main uses of the mobile application are for generating addresses, searching for items to purchase, locating places and filling of forms.
Countering the claims of some Ghanaians that the app is complex, uninteresting and similar to Google Map, she insisted that “the App is simpler than Google Map because it has codes for easy direction and also has an offline version for people who do not have smartphones”.
