Portuguese Chamber Trade Mission to visit Ghana for opportunities

Accra, Oct. 22, GNA – The AIMMAP Portuguese
Business Association would arrive in Ghana on Monday, October 29, to seek
partners, representatives and distributors for the promotion of a wide range of
products and services on the Ghanaian market.

A statement issued by the Global Trade
Consult, Ghana, on Monday, to the Ghana News Agency, said the maiden visit
would feature five Portuguese companies, including manufacturers of renewable
energy components and mining and construction machines.

“They specialise in renewable energy, large
solar thermal installations; manufacturer of photovoltaic, solar collectors,
absorbers, thermosyphon kits, forced circulation kits, water storages, mounting
sets OP-V2 and OP-V4AL, and accessories,” the statement said about some of
them.

The statement said with the team would be a
company providing Vocational Training in the form of Laboratory or Machinery
Installation and Professional Guidance for the Mechanical Industry.

Some also deal in the supply of a robust range
of machines for mining and construction industry – equipment manufacture for
the production and processing of aggregates, performing all the steps involved
in the design of production facilities and processing of aggregates, which
stand out the draft, the design, manufacture and assembly.

There will also be manufacturers of
supermarkets displays and horizontal displays, such as large, medium and small
chest freezers, ice cream freezers, upright coolers, freezers for bakery and
pastries, wine cabinets and upright coolers for pharmaceutical purposes.

“The mission participants have a range of
objectives, including looking for local partners, representatives, qualified
distributors or agents and clients,” the statement said.

“All
will be researching the market for the first time and be will be looking
forward to meeting new business contacts”.

The delegation would depart on Wednesday,
October 31.

AIMMAP was founded in 1957, as one of the most
representative associations of Portugal, with the main objective of assisting
its members from the metallurgical and mechanical engineering sector, in a
continuous and sustaining manner.

It provides advisory services and helps them
to improve their competitiveness and processes of modernisation.

The Association also organises international
trade mission, while providing vast information on their activities on the
website for online relationships.
