Founder of the Urban Entrepreneur Centers of America, Darrel Frater has stated that one of the ways an entrepreneur can become successful is to form a business relationship.

According to him, business networking builds a relationship with potential customers and other entrepreneurs for business growth.

Darrel Frater was speaking at the maiden edition of the Confluent Media forum organized for entrepreneurs to share ideas on how to become successful entrepreneur.

The forum which was in partnership with the Urban Entrepreneur Centers of America and Femon Travels, also shared ideas on how SMEs can attract investors, demonstrate scalability, growth potential, networking, sustainability, ability to solve real problems, plans to extend beyond local markets and solid team skill.

speaking on the theme “Transforming a cultural diaspora into business network” Darrel Frater urged entrepreneurs to take advantage of networking as it contributes to the growth of businesses.

“In order to be successful in business, you need to have an open mind, and an even wider-open ear. And while local relationships are an excellent resource, he said

Ideally, networking is part of your daily professional activity, not just something you do when you are looking for a job. Apply professional relationships to expand your network during your search, rather than starting to build it while in transition” he added
