Christian men urged to avail themselves for God’s use

Accra, Oct. 21, GNA – Reverend Jonas Kwami
Cosmos Kumah Tengey, the Greater Accra Regional Pastor of the Great Commission
Church International (GCCI) has urged Christian men to avail themselves for God
to use them to his glory.

He said God was always looking out for men to
use to expand his kingdom; hence, there was the need for Christian men to avail
themselves to that effect.

“The truth is that your life will never
be fulfilling until you allow God to use you,” Rev Tengey stated on Sunday
at the Climax of the 2018 Men’s Ministry Week of the Maranatha Assembly of the
GCCI, at Kanawu in the Tema West Municipality in the Greater Accra Region.

The week-long celebration was on the theme
“The Man God Uses”.

Speaking on the sub-theme “The Profitable
Servant”, Rev Tengey urged all Christians to emulate the two profitable
servants in the parable of the talent in the Bible, who were given five talents
and two talents respectively; and they were able to double their amounts
through application.

He said at the end of life, the greatest
achievement of each and every Christian would be to hear the good Lord saying –
“Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a
few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of
thy lord.”

The Rev Minister also appealed to Christians
to live balanced life, and to create room for doing the work of God.

He lauded the Men’s Ministry of the Church for
constructing the fence wall around the Church premises.

At the ceremony, Rev Tengey also dedicated to
God the new uniform of the Men’s Ministry of Marantha Assembly of GCCI.

Mr Manfred Kumah, the Chairman, Men’s
Ministry, GCCI Maranatha Assembly, urged his fellow men to be steadfast,
unmovable and always abiding in the work of the Lord; declaring that their
labour in the Lord would never be in vain.
