Boxer Michael Okine alias Ayitey Powers and popular comedian, Baba Spirit have once again been involved in a fracas.
A video sighted by Ghanaweb captures Powers and Baba Spirit who appeared as guests on UTV, exchanging heated words which nearly resulted a brawl.
A timely intervention by host of the Real News on UTV, Akrobeto ensured that the boxer who seem to have thrown the rules of his profession to the dogs and the loudmouthed comedian did not exchange fisticuffs.
Baba Spirit who felt enraged by a comment from Ayitey Powers that he has been sent by the devil to disturb him, retorted with some unpleasant words.
Ayitey Powers and Baba Spirit have for the past one year been involved in altercations on various media platforms.
It will be recalled that on February 20, 2018, the two men clashed at Accra-based radio station Accra FM.
The clash on UTV is, however believed to be staged to hype a bout between the two come Saturday at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
The two have been billed to fight as a curtain raiser for the main bout between Ghana’s Emmanuel Tagoe and Moses Paulus of Namibia.
Ayitey Powers’ arch-rival, Bukom Banku has declared his support for Baba Spirit and will be expecting him to beat Ayittey Powers.
