Winneba (C/R), Oct. 10, GNA – The Winneba
Magistrate Court has sentenced Amos Krampah, unemployed, to a fine of GH¢600.00
for causing unlawful damage and stealing.

Amos Krampah, 29, a native of Winneba, pleaded
not guilty but was sentenced to the fine or in default to serve six months in
prison.

Winneba (C/R), Oct. 10, GNA – The Winneba
Magistrate Court has sentenced Amos Krampah, unemployed, to a fine of GH¢600.00
for causing unlawful damage and stealing.

Amos Krampah, 29, a native of Winneba, pleaded
not guilty but was sentenced to the fine or in default to serve six months in
prison.

Agbelie told the court presided over by Mr Charles Oheneba-Kufour that Kofi
Abbam, electrician and the complainant of the case resides at Winneba.

The prosecution said the complainant and her
mother resides in the same house near “Olympic Arena” a popular guest house in
Winneba.

Inspector Agbelie said a month ago, the
complainant’s mother relocated to her current house at Low Cost, a suburb of
Winneba, and on 14th September, at 1730 hrs, the complainant
returned from work and met Krampah with a chisel and hammer breaking into his
mother’s room.

He said immediately Krampah saw the
complainant approaching him, he attempted to flee but he was apprehended and
brought to the Winneba Police Station where an official complaint was lodged.

In his cautioned statement the convict
admitted the offence and stated amongst others that though he caused damage to
the door lock, he did not gain access to the room, Inspector Agbelie said.

After investigations, he was charged with the
offence and brought before the court, the prosecution said.
