Sekondi, Oct. 3, GNA – Mr Franck Nene A. Kubi,
the Chief Executive Officer of C7 logistics Limited, a Takoradi based Logistics
Company, has donated various items worth GH¢15000.00 to Western Regional Police
Command.

The items are made up of 45 Fire extinguishers
and 40 pieces of reflectors.

The company also installed a panic alarm
system at the Sekondi District Police Command.

police protect themselves and their facilities as well as provide security to
the public.

He said his outfit would soon extend support
to other districts within the region and also called on other companies and the

cannot provide everything for them.

The Regional Police Commander, DCOP Mr
Redeemer Vincent Dedjoe who received the items on behalf of the Command,
expressed gratitude to Mr Kubi for the kind gesture, saying the donation would
be used for the intended purpose.

DCOP Dedjoe used the occasion to call on
corperate organizations, philanthropists and other institutions to emulate the
shining example of Mr Kubi.

He said the mission of Ghana Police Service is
to protect lives and property and there is the need to protect their lives
first in order to effectively discharge our duties.

Among those who benefited from the donation
include the Regional Police Command, Sekondi Divisional and District
Headquarters and the Sekondi Police Barracks.

Personnel from the Regional Fire Service led
by the Regional Fire Officer ACFO James Emmanuel Quao, who were invited to the
programme, educated and demonstrated to the Police personnel on how to use the
