Greek defender, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, has put Arsenal ahead in their second group match of the ongoing Europa league competition against Qarabag. The Gunners won their first match of the competition against Vorskla 4-2 and also look to be coasting to victory in this encounter after bossing the larger possession.
The Gunners defender needed only four minutes of play to open his goal scoring account against Qarabag in Azberjan.
He bundled the ball into the net after Mohamed Elneny’s corner kick was flicked on by Nacho Monreal and it took a slight deflection of him.

I need to apologise to Sokratis. Much better player than I gave him credit for when he first arrived. I’m not gonna apologise though, because pride.
