Manchester Derby ComebackUnited hope to bounce back to winning ways against Valencia

Another game, another headache for Jose who is experiencing another low point in his managerial career with his Manchester United side having tasted no victory in their last three matches.

They come up against Valencia with United’s record against Spanish sides staring in the face of Jose and his charges. The Red Devils have won just 12 out of 47 matches against Spanish opponents.

Confidence is low at Old Trafford with United having made their worst start to a league season for 29 years.

The 3-1 defeat to West Ham on Saturday has swelled the pressure on Jose Mourinho who also has Pogba’s troubles to deal with but a game against an opponent who have won once in 8 previous meetings should be enough confidence for Manchester to crawl their way out of the crisis.

A win is non-negotiable and Jose being fully aware is expected to field some of his trusted players but Jesse Lingard, Ashley Young, Ander Herrera and Marcos Rojo are unavailable for selection due to injuries.

Valencia haven’t been good either, they had to wait till last Sunday to pick their first 3 points of the season and are currently 3rd in Group H after losing to Juventus.

Kevin Gameiro who scored last Sunday is expected to lead the line for Valencia alongside Chelsea-loanee Michy Batshuayi. In Group H, former Champions Bayern Munich will welcome Dutch giants Ajax to the Allianz Arena.

Holders, Real Madrid travel to Russia to play CSKA Moscow in Group G
