Kwablan Akunnor, has been handed a three year contract by the club.
Coach Akunnor, would be unveiled on Wednesday,
October 3, 2018 at the Sports Hotel in Kumasi.

Communications Director of Asante Kotoko, has confirmed that, Coach Charles
Kwablan Akunnor, has been handed a three year contract by the club.
Coach Akunnor, would be unveiled on Wednesday,
October 3, 2018 at the Sports Hotel in Kumasi.
The resignation of Paa Kwesi Fabin, just after
his seventh month with the Porcupine Warriors
rendered the head coach position vacant, with over 50 coaches reported
to have applied for the position.
But according to Mr. Duku, they have agreed
terms with the 44 year-old former Ashantigold coach and details would be
released at his unveiling on Wednesday.
“I can confirm that Akunnor has agreed on
a three-year deal with the club and he would be introduced to the playing body
and the supporters on Wednesday,” he told GNA Sports.
Akunnor, who has coached top clubs in the
country, becomes the 15th manager for the Porcupine Warriors in 10 years.
