The items include nine
gas stoves, nine filled gas cylinders and accessories.

Presenting the items,
Mr Osae said it has been his desire to see the school turn into a well
established institution that the students and all other stakeholders would be
proud to see.

He urged the students
of the school to take advantage of the facilities at the school to excel and
create a good future for themselves.

Mr Osae advised the
students not to see the West African Senior School Certificate as the end but
rather the beginning of their future.

Mrs Rosamund
Amoako-Appenteng, the General Manager of the Presbyterian Education Unit,
challenged the students and management of the school to work hard to make it
one of the best schools in the country.

Speaking to the
students, she said, the textbooks being used to teach them is the same text
books being use to teach students in the best schools in the country and they
can also make it if they spend more time with their books.

Mrs Amoako-Appenteng
advised the students not to disappoint their parents but take advantage of the
facilities of the school to make their parents and the school proud.

She said it is the
determination of the Presbyterian Church to make all its schools amongst the
top rated in the country and would soon be launching the theme for the
celebration of this year’s education week which would be:“Reclaiming our lost
values , discipline and good morals”.

Mr David Odjidja, the
Headmaster of the School, earlier in a welcoming address, appealed for the
completion of projects started in the school in 2016 including a 12 unit
classroom block and a dormitory block.

He said the school
also has no school bus which makes it difficult to send the students to
excursions.

Mr Odjidja said the
schools is the youngest among the four public secondary schools in the Akuapem
South District but now has the highest student population of over 2,000.
