Croatia footballer, Luka Modric, has been rewarded for having a stellar footballing season in the year in view by winning the FIFA best player award.
The midfielder won the award ahead of former team mate, Cristiano Ronaldo, who has previously won the award a record of 5 times and Liverpool striker Mohammed Salah.
While being interviewed by journalists at the end of the award ceremony, he revealed that although he won the award ahead of the duo, but they are also great players.
