Father of the reigning artiste of the year, Ebony Reigns, Nana Opoku Kwarteng, has said that he is currently grooming his eldest daughter to take over from where Ebony Reigns left off.
According to the man known popularly as Starboy Kwarteng, nobody can take over from Ebony but her own sister.
He mentioned that although people say Wendy Shay is the replacement for Ohemaa as he profoundly calls Ebony, he believes that that is not the case and that her own sister should take over.
He mentioned that he and the sister of Ebony he is grooming will release some songs in the coming days to help Ebony’s legacy live on.
“Ohemaa (Ebony) is unique. She is in her own world and class in terms of music. No one can replace her. Wendy Shay could be greater but nowhere near Ebony. The only person who can replace Ohemaa is her elder sister Adwoa Poku Kwateng,” he told a radio station in Berekum.
“We are planning on releasing couple of songs to continue with the legacy Ohemaa left behind.”
