Company Limited has supported 102 brilliant but needy students from the Tema
Manhean Community.

This forms part of the Company’s commitment to
contribute to the communities within which it operates.

different schools: Manhean Presbyterian Primary A and B, Manhean TMA JHS 1 and
2, and the Manhean Community Primary School.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony,

provision of reliable, efficient and affordable electricity. We believe in the
adage that education is the major tool that can change the world and as a
company we channel our investment in meeting the needs of the communities in
this area.”

“This year, in addition to offering
Scholarship, the company introduced a mentorship programme for the community
school, where students were taken through various subjects including financial
literacy, the job market and its requirements, as well as gender equality”, she
said.

The Head Master of Manhean TMA JHS 1, Mr.
Ransford Nunoo said, “We are pleased with Karpowership’s move to support
education in the Manhean Community. There exist the proclivity of some

scholarships coupled with the mentorship programme is a move in the right
direction in terms of its impact on the student community.”

operations in Ghana, the company has consistently supported the Tema Manhean
Community in the areas of community development and education.

The company would relocate its 450MW Karadeniz
Powership Osman Khan to the Sekondi Naval Base in order to utilize the gas
resources in the Western enclave, next year, in accordance with the Ministry of
Energy’s project schedule.
