Akunnor has been tipped to replace Paa Kwesi Fabin as Kotoko coach
Asante Kotoko spokesperson Sarfo Duku has dismissed media reports suggesting the club have engaged CK Akunnor as coach of the team.
Kotoko are in the market looking for a new coach following the resignation of coach Paa Kwasi Fabin.
Akunnor has already held talks with the club for the vacant coaching job but Sarfo Duku insists they have not concluded yet.
“We are in talks with coaches but we haven’t settled on anyone yet hence the reports of we signing a two year contract with CK Akunnor is not true,” Lawyer Duku told Happy FM.
“In due time the team will come out with a name of the coach to manage Kotoko after we all agree on the terms and conditions.”
