The former Member of Parliament for La Dade Kotopon Constituency in the Greater Accra Region has refuted media reports suggesting that the former President, Mr. John Mahama lost the 2016 general elections because he only campaigned on his legacy without telling Ghanaians his vision for the country hence caused his defeat to Nana Akufo-Addo.
Nii Namoale’s statement is in reaction to a news item published by an online news portal, mynewsgh.com, Sunday, September 16, 2018 claiming he had attacked former President John Mahama over the 2016 elections defeat.
The story was captioned, “Mahama’s lack of vision cost the NDC 2016 elections – Namoale”.
In a statement signed by Nii Namoale he indicated, “I write to dissociate myself from that story. I have never granted any interview to Hello FM in recent times”.
According to the statement, the story is a figment of political propaganda and revealed that Nii Namoale is currently in Nigeria for a private business.
“The story is a figment of their political propaganda imagination. In fact, on Tuesday 11th September 2018, I left Ghana for Abuja for a private business. I am still in Abuja as I write this rejoinder and I have never granted any interview to any Radio station to suggest the news item as published by Mynewsgh.com”, the statement opined.
The statement emphasized, “I urge Ghanaians to disregard that news item because it is a tool to divert attention from the airport terminal 3 good work of the Mahama administration”.
The statement has denied the publication insisting that no such comment has been authored by Nii Amissah Namoale.

Hon Nii Amasah Namoale denies attack on President Mahama and said Mynewsgh.com is doing propaganda for FSH & NPP
Mynewsgh.com publication today 16th September 2018 of me attacking former President Mahama with a headline ‘Mahama’s lack of Vision caused the NDC the 2016 elections’, has drawn my attention.
I write to dissociate myself from that story. I have never granted interview to Hello FM in recent times.
The story is a figment of their political propaganda imagination. In fact on Tuesday 11th September 2018, I left Ghana for Abuja for a private business. I am still in Abuja as I write this rejoinder and I have never granted any interview to any Radio station to suggest the news item as published by Mynewsgh.com.

They told Ghanaians it was photoshopped airport terminal but today time has exposed NPP to Ghanaians. Mynewsgh.com is either being mischievous or doing propaganda for FSH and NPP. This is a sign of desperation of the NPP government.
The cedi has broken loose, NHIS is not working, Accra is engulfed with filth and people are dying of simple malaria. Allow we the NDC to do our internal democracy without rancour.
I have said it over and over many times that President Mahama did very well for the state Ghana, more than any president ever. My difference with him is our NDC’s internal matter. NPP please go and arrest the cedi and wait for we the people of Ghana to expect Dec7, 2020 to vote you out of power.
