OTTN Donation1,050 exercise books were donated to some deprived children in society

Outpouring To The Nations Foundation (OTTN) in collaboration with Street Academy both Non Governmental Organisations have donated over 1,050 exercise books to some deprived children in society to enable them continue with their education.

The donation which took place in Accra was to ensure that the children have access to quality education with each child receiving seven branded OTTN exercise books as well as a pen to assist them in the 2018/2019 academic year.

Ms Sheila Azuntaba, the Chairperson OTTN Foundation, said they believe in making sure that the grace of God, the love of God, and the word of God was expressed by reaching out with a helping hand hence, the gesture.

She said the Foundation had plans for Street Academy and with time they would support them accordingly to enhance their performance.

Ms Azuntaba urged the beneficiaries to study hard in school to enable them become better people in the future.

Ataa Lartey, the Founder and Director Street Academy, expressed gratitude to OTTN for the gesture adding, every child needs formal education and that the economic situation of their parents should not deny them of being educated.

For this reason he said, the academy supports children to have formal education and be well educated to become whatever they want to be in the future.

He announced that this term the academy had enrolled 18 brilliant children in school and called for more support from stakeholders to enable them send the children to school.

OTTN is an educational charity organization and has supported Street Academy to help needy children have access to formal education over the years.
