MTN supports Nsein traditional area with GH¢10,000 to climax Kuntum celebration

Nsein (WR), Sept. 15, GNA – The Mobile

and other souvenirs to the omanhene of the Nsein traditional area to augment

Nsein (WR), Sept. 15, GNA – The Mobile
Telecommunication Network company (MTN) has presented a cheque for GH¢10,000
and other souvenirs to the omanhene of the Nsein traditional area to augment
their celebration of this year’s Kuntum Festival.

MTN over the years, have invested in festivals
across the country to deepen ties with traditional authorities and the
communities they did business to ensure mutual growth and sustained interest.

Mrs Ann Ekua Yalley, the Acting Regional
Manager for Souhth West Business District of MTN who presented the Check to
Awulae Agyamfi Kwame at his palace in Nsein said MTN believed in the
transmission of knowledge, norms and values of a given society to upcoming
generation and serve as a medium to change the growing negative vices in
society.

“We trust that relationship between us will
deepen even further as we associate with the Nsien Kuntum for mutual
developmental agenda”, she added.

Mrs Yalley said MTN would continue to invest
in festivals across the country to support in the re-orientation of both the
present and future generation to uphold good values.

“For us as MTN, it is another opportunity to
strengthen our communal ties, maintain relationships as we strive to be market
leaders in this segment of business”.

Awulae Gyamfi Kwame expressed gratitude to MTN
for their incessant support over the years.

He said traditional rulers have a great deal
of responsibility in shaping the mind-set of society and such interventions
were timely and would enable them to achieve the goal of positive public
education through festivals.

Awulae Gyamfi Kwame on the other hand noted
that planting for food and jobs was a laudable initiative especially for youth
employment creation.
