Kwahu Aduamoa community in Accra swore in new chief and Queen mother

I, the Chief of Kwahu Aduamoa Community in Accra and Nana Abena Asiedua, the
Queen mother  had been sworn in by the
Kwahu Community Council (KCC) led by Nana Kwarkye Owusu Ansah II, the Chief of
Kotoso and the Acting Head of the KCC in Accra.

I, the Chief of Kwahu Aduamoa Community in Accra and Nana Abena Asiedua, the
Queen mother  had been sworn in by the
Kwahu Community Council (KCC) led by Nana Kwarkye Owusu Ansah II, the Chief of
Kotoso and the Acting Head of the KCC in Accra.

At a colourful ceremony held to commemorate
the occasion, Nana Mintah I pledged to work hand in hand with the Queen mother
to strengthen and ensure unity among members of the group so as to extend
development to their mother community.

He said they have planned a trip to ‘Dadamu,
their ancestral home, quizzes, marathons and others during Easter festivities
to help depict their rich culture and to promote the socio- economic activities
of the people in the area.

As part of the group’s short term development
plan, Nana Mintah said the Kwahu Aduamoa residents in Accra had planned to
provide streetlights, portable water and toilet facilities for   Kwahu Aduamoa to ensure the comfort of the
inhabitants.

Nana Mintah said the group have plans of
upgrading the Aduamoa clinic by providing a laboratory and a maternity ward to
reduce maternal mortality facing the people.

He therefore entreated other natives of the
community to endeavour to join the group to contribute to the progress of their
mother community.

Nana Owusu Ansah II advised members of
community to promote unity and togetherness among members to help in carrying
out their plans for their mother community.
