K-Balm Armwrestling Club honored after After Armwrestling Championship

Accra, September 14,
GNA – Members of the K-Balm Armwrestling Club, have presented their medals, won
at the African Armwrestling Championship in Accra to Mr. Kofi Addo Agyekum, the
Chief Executive Officer of Kofikrom Pharmacy, producers of K-Balm.

The team members,
visited Mr. Agyekum at his office and thanked him for his massive support and
contribution to the development of Armwrestling in Ghana

Mr. Agyekum,
congratulated them and urged them not to give up but rather continue to work
hard and excel in their chosen sports

He appealed to the
athletes to avoid alcohol and desist from bad eating habits, anger and other
negative attitudes, which might destroy their future and rather support each
other and be united as a team.

Cash Awards were
presented by the CEO to the athletes for excelling in the African Armwrestling
Championship and assured them of his continuous support to their development in
the sport.

Alberta Amponah, the
female coach of the team, added that, K-Balm contributed 10 athletes to the
National Armwrestling team, Golden Arms and won a total of 21 medals out of the
88 won by team Ghana,

She said they would
continue to work hard to win more medals.

Members of the K-Balm
Armwrestling team that won medals are; Isaac Nii Amugi (two gold and silver
medals), Prince Affum (one gold and silver), Adjetey Sowah (two silver medals),
Isaac Kunyah (two bronze medals) and Moses Abromekyi (two bronze medals).

The rest are; Mary
Aryeetey (one gold and silver), Aldolfus Alfred (two gold medals), George (one
bronze), Alberta Ampomah (two gold medals) and Asamoah (one gold and silver).
